Woman stabbed south of Brisbane

A woman has been taken to hospital in Brisbane after she was stabbed in the stomach.

Detectives are investigating the unlawful wounding at Waterford West, near Logan, south of the city on Thursday.

Officers were called to a house on Mark Lane and found the 30-year-old woman with a wound to her abdomen.

The woman has been taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment and a crime scene has been established.
