Woman stabbed in the neck and shoulder during alleged domestic dispute in Surfers Paradise

A woman is in hospital after being stabbed in the neck and shoulder during an alleged domestic dispute on the Gold Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called to a unit on Admiralty Drive, Surfers Paradise, around 5.40am to reports a man and woman were fighting inside.

The pair were reportedly fighting when the man allegedly stabbed the woman.

She suffered wounds to her neck and shoulder and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

There are reports a man left the scene after the incident.

A spokesman for Queensland Police told 9news.com.au no arrests have yet been made.

Police have established a crime scene and are interviewing witnesses.
