Woman sexually assaulted on Qld beach

A middle-aged woman has been sexually assaulted while walking along the beach at Hervey Bay in Queensland.

The 41-year-old, visiting friends in the town, left Viper's Nightclub about 1am on Thursday and walked to the beachfront where she was assaulted by a man.

Police believe the attacker has leg tattoos and say two other men may also have been involved.
