Woman critical after Qld pub fight

A woman is in hospital with critical head injuries after trying to break up a fight outside a pub in a tiny outback Queensland town.
Police say the 55-year-old woman was hurt when trying to intervene in a scuffle between two men at the Aramac Hotel in Aramac, near Longreach, on Saturday night.
She is in a critical condition in the Townsville Hospital and any witnesses are being urged to contact police.
