A 26-year-old woman has been charged with arson and endangering property after she allegedly set fire to a Brisbane unit.

Police were called to Cromer St at Coopers Plains about 3.50pm on Saturday following reports of a blaze that caused extensive damage to the apartment and neighbouring properties.

The woman was charged on Sunday and will front the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
