Woman carjacked at Qld shopping centre

A woman has been attacked with a walking stick and her vehicle stolen while loading groceries into a car at a Brisbane shopping centre.

The 57-year-old was in the car park of the centre on the corner of Gympie and Webster Roads, Chermside, when she was set upon by a man in his 30s on Wednesday afternoon, police say.

He stole her grey 2011 Suburu Impreza hatchback, with Queensland registration 870-RRX, and is described as Caucasian, approximately 191cm tall and of a medium build.
