Woman bitten by brown snake in Qld

A woman is being treated in hospital after being bitten by a venomous brown snake in southeast Queensland.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was bitten on the hand at Inglestone, west of Toowoomba, about 10.30am (AEST) on Thursday, a statement from Careflight said.
She is in a stable condition after being flown to nearby Roma Hospital.
