Woman assaulted at Gold Coast home

A woman has been assaulted amid a reported abduction at a Gold Coast home.

Police were called to the Esenada Court residence at Broadbeach Waters on Thursday morning where the woman has been treated for facial injuries, a police spokeswoman said.

Media has reported "an emotional woman" arrived at the home around 9:30am following a possible abduction, but Queensland Police could not confirm this.
