Weapon found after two-state pursuit

Drugs, cash and a machete-style weapon have been found in a stolen car after a police pursuit that started in NSW and ended in Queensland.

A 30-year-old man is facing a string of charges after police spotted him driving the stolen car in northern NSW on Thursday afternoon.

The man was driving on four flat tyres when Gold Coast police intercepted the vehicle and arrested him.

He'll front the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday on 13 charges including driving while on drugs, possessing a knife in public, and supplying dangerous drugs.
