Waterbombing chopper crashes in Qld

A helicopter pilot has survived a crash while waterbombing a fire west of Brisbane.
The pilot crashed off of Grapetree Road while bombing the Pechey fire near Toowoomba at about 2pm on Wednesday.
They are being treated at the scene of the crash by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics for non-life threatening injuries.

A spokesman said the pilot made a "hard landing".
