Water truck driver dies in southeast Qld

A man has died after the water truck he was driving crashed into a concrete barrier on the Ipswich Motorway in southeast Queensland.

Police were called to Gailes just after midnight on Saturday to find the 68-year-old man unconscious, but he later died at the scene.

Three Brisbane-bound lanes were closed by the accident and traffic was being diverted onto the Logan Motorway.
