Two Qld teens charged over bus attack

Two teenagers, who allegedly bashed a Brisbane bus driver after he kicked them off for being drunk, have been granted bail.

Police say the assault on Friday left the 42-year-old driver with facial injuries, and the attackers, both aged 18, fled after another passenger intervened.

Joshua Brett Thomas was granted bail in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday morning and police later charged his co-accused, who has also been granted bail, with both due to return to court on March 22.
