Two large bushfires still burning in Qld

Firefighters are continuing to battle two large bushfires burning near Rockhampton in central Queensland.

Six fire crews will spend Monday night monitoring a blaze at Nine Mile Creek after a day of relentless water bombing.

Meanwhile, seven crews are strengthening containment lines at a fire just outside of Mount Morgan.

Neither bushfire is posing any threat to property.
