Two killed in separate Qld car crashes

Two drivers have been killed in separate collisions on Queensland's roads.

A 21-year-old driver died when his car hit a power pole at Shoal Point Road in Bucasia about 2am on Saturday.

The man, from Mackay, was taken to Base Hospital, where he later died.

Another 67-year-old man was killed when his semi-trailer crashed into a culvert and caught on fire on the Bruce Highway at Marmor on Saturday morning.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
