Police interview pair over Graveson death

Queensland police have located two people it believes could help with the murder investigation of Victor William Graveson.

The 65-year-old died on Monday afternoon, three days after he suffered burns to 80 per cent of his body after he was doused with petrol and set alight as he slept at his Alexandra Hills home.

David Charles Edgerley was originally charged with attempted murder but it was upgraded to murder following Mr Graveson's death.

Earlier this week police launched a public appeal for information into the whereabouts of a 33-year-old man and 44-year-old woman, who it believed could help with the investigation.

Police confirmed on Friday the pair had been found and they were assisting officers with their enquiries.

Edgerley's matter will return to court on September 25.
