Two dead after car and truck collide in central Queensland

Two people have died in a road accident in the Queensland town of Kolonga.

Police say a car and a truck collided on the Bruce Highway, approximately 40km north of Gin Gin, around 4.30 on Sunday afternoon.

The drivers of both the truck and the car both died at the scene, while a passenger in the truck has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
