Man in wheelchair dies in hospital after being hit by truck

A man in a motorised wheelchair has died after being hit by a truck in central Queensland.
The 60-year-old was struck as he turned left into a Mackay street shortly before noon today.
Police said he was taken to Mackay Base Hospital but died three hours after the collision.
