Trio face court on 100s of drug charges

A Gold Coast property developer and two other men have faced court after being charged with hundreds of drug offences.

Steven John Seabrook, 55, is facing 296 charges, including supply and possession of dangerous drugs, following a Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) investigation into an alleged cocaine and ice syndicate.

Seabrook and co-accused George Boulos, 41, and Shaun Vincent Loader, 46, all faced Southport Magistrates Court charged with the offences.

The CCC alleges the trio were all involved in a syndicate which is allegedly linked to the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang.

The commission's investigation, named Operation Altana, allegedly discovered the syndicate was using a property along the Tedder Avenue restaurant strip in Main Beach to cut and package the drugs.

Boulos, a mortgage broker, is facing 244 charges while security systems expert Loader has been charged with 26 offences.

All three matters have been adjourned until May 16.

The CCC also charged a 55-year-old Gold Coast man in January in relation to the same operation with 91 offences including trafficking ice and cocaine.
