Trio escape burning truck in Qld

Three people have had a lucky escape from a semi-trailer truck that burst into flames on a Queensland highway.

The truck, believed to be carrying paint, caught fire while on the Bruce Highway at the Sunshine Coast around 12.15pm.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the driver and two other people escaped from the truck's cabin without injury.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
