Trainer had growth hormone stash: police

A Gold Coast personal trainer will face court over 19 vials of human growth hormone and other drugs that were uncovered during a raid.

Police investigating links between bikie gangs and illegal steroid supply say they uncovered the stash, worth about $9000, at a Broadbeach apartment on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old was issued with a notice to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court in August in relation to possession of dangerous drugs, possession of controlled drugs and fail to dispose of a syringe.
