Tourist suffers spinal injury in Qld surf

A Swedish tourist has suffered a suspected spinal injury after being thrown onto rocks while swimming in the surf at Fraser Island.
The 22-year-old man was airlifted by helicopter to Hervey Bay Hospital after being injured by a rogue wave at Champagne Pools around 11am on Wednesday.
