Tiahleigh accused to face court in March

The foster mother and brother of slain Brisbane schoolgirl Tiahleigh Palmer are set to face an indictment presentation in court later this month.

Julene Thorburn, 55, and her son Joshua, 21, did not appear at Beenleigh District Court on Thursday as their matter was adjourned until March 16 for the indictment presentation.

The pair have been charged with perverting the course of justice and perjury following the investigation into the suspected murder of Tiahleigh.

Thorburn's husband Richard has been charged with the 12-year-old's murder while their youngest son Trent is facing charges of incest and perjury.

The body of Tiahleigh was discovered on the banks of a Gold Coast river in November 2015, just days after she went missing in late October.

Both Julene and Joshua Thorburn have pleaded guilty to their charges.
