Boy, 3, found dead on minibus in Cairns

A three-year-old boy has been found dead on a minibus parked outside a school in a Cairns suburb.

The boy was found about 3.15pm on Tuesday in the town of Edmonton, according to Queensland Police.

The minibus was parked outside Hambledon State School.

Police said there does not seem to be any connection between the bus and the school.

Detectives from the Child Protection Investigation Unit are investigating
