Third man charged over central Qld murder

A third man has been arrested and charged over the fatal stabbing of a man in central Queensland.

Mala Owen Geissler, 29, was found at an address in the Mackay suburb of Eimeo on Sunday afternoon and charged with murder, robbery with violence, enter with intent and assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.

He will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday.

Two other men are already behind bars after the stabbing death of 29-year-old Tyrone Michael Baynton at his North Mackay property on October 11.

Joshua Don Francis Wales, 24, faces a murder charge and Jeremy Keith Abell, 26, is accused of manslaughter.

Both are also accused of armed robbery and entering a premises with intent while armed.
