Thieves with bricks break into bottle shop

A gang of thieves have smashed through the glass doors of a south Brisbane bottle shop with bricks to steal alcohol.

Police say a black sedan stopped outside the shop on Ipswich Rd, Annerley, about 2.15am (AEST) on Wednesday.

Five men and a woman then got out and used bricks to smash the glass doors and an interior glass panel.

Officers say they stole a large quantity of alcohol before driving away.
