Thieves try to run man down with his car

A 61-year-old man had his Mount Louisa home, in North Queensland invaded, then chased the thieves off before they stole his car and ran over his foot.

Police allege that when he chased them into the street the thieves performed a U-turn and drove directly at the man.

He was taken to Townsville Hospital with minor injuries and police are still searching for his assailants.
