TIMELINE OF ROCKHAMPTON'S MOUNT ARCHER MURDER MYSTERY

March 2013:

* Robert Martinez and Chantal Barnett are last seen in the Mount Archer area.

Sept 2013

* Detectives say the Rockhampton housemates were murdered.

Oct 22, 2014

* A skull and other bones belonging to Mr Martinez are found on a Mount Archer property, along with Ms Barnett's handbag. Mr Martinez's wallet and car were found at the same site in 2013.

Oct 27, 2014

* Police offer a $250,000 reward to help solve the case.

April 2015

* SES volunteers and police search a Parkhurst property as part of the continuing investigation.

Feb 2016

* Police arrest two men, aged 31 and 41, over the murders of Ms Barnett and Mr Martinez.
