Teens questioned after Qld car joy-ride

Three teenage boys have been arrested over a wild joy-ride through suburbs south of Brisbane.

Footage from two police helicopters shows a stolen car weaving in and out of traffic, going through red lights and driving the wrong way as it evaded police on Monday.

During the chase, which started in Crestmead, the car can be seen going against traffic on a four-lane road and being driven along footpaths.

It managed to avoid one set of tyre spikes before running over another set and ramming into a police vehicle at Parkinson.

Two boys, aged 14, and a 16-year-old were taken into custody and are being questioned by police.
