Teens leap from moving car in Qld pursuit

Three teenagers have leapt from a moving car after dramatic police pursuit in Brisbane, with officers later finding a handgun in the stolen BMW.

Police scrambled to stop the slow moving car after the teenagers jumped out, leapt over a guardrail at Nudgee and fled into surrounding bushland about 1am on Friday. They were arrested shortly afterwards.

Officers had earlier used three sets of tyre spikes to slow down the car. The male teens, aged 14, 15 and 18, have all been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
