Teen rams cop car during Brisbane chase

A teenager has been charged after a police car was rammed during a chase through Brisbane.

The 18-year-old Acacia Ridge man allegedly stole the car from Carina on Sunday night and led police on a chase through Brisbane's western suburbs.

After hitting tyre spikes at Booval about 12.30am on Monday, the teen then allegedly crashed into a police 4WD.

He faces a string of charges including dangerous operation of a vehicle and unlicensed driving and fail to stop motor vehicle.

He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 21.
