Teacher, student burnt in Qld TAFE fire

A teacher and a student have suffered burns in a fire at a TAFE campus in south east Queensland.

The two males sustained burns to their body, face, chest and arms after a sudden fire at a TAFE college in Hervey Bay and are now in a stable condition in hospital, the Queensland Ambulance Service says.

A spokesman for the Office of Industrial Relations says the scene of the flash fire is secure and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
