Katter moves to crack down on Uber drivers
AAP
Uber drivers will be docked demerit points under laws proposed by Queensland crossbencher Rob Katter.
Mr Katter wants to crack down further on drivers because he claims fines aren't deterring the multinational ride-sharing app.
"We don't want people using private vehicles to do the services undertaken a regulated taxi industry," the Mt Isa MP told parliament upon tabling the bill.
