Suspicious death of Bris man investigated

The suspicious death of a man in a Brisbane suburb has sparked a police investigation.

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital after emergency services were called to a unit on Osborne Road at Mitchelton just before midday on Saturday.

He died shortly after arriving at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Queensland Police say.

A crime scene has been established and detectives have been investigating his death, which is believed to be suspicious.

At this stage the cause of his death is unknown, police say.
