Seven boys who overdosed on a Russian designer drug at a prestigious Gold Coast high school last week will no longer attend the school.
The grade 10 students from St Stephen's College were admitted to hospital last Wednesday after taking Phenibut, with the last of them released on Sunday.
Principal Jamie Dorrington confirmed they were no longer students of the school after speaking with the boys and their parents.

Detectives believed the students had ingested dangerous amounts of the anxiety and insomnia drug over several hours before an ambulance was called when they became unwell.
Police are investigating whether the drug was purchased online.
