Sporting boss charged with $465,000 fraud

A man has been charged with a $465,000 fraud while president of a Queensland sporting body.
The 54-year-old Rockhampton man allegedly fraudulently obtained a $465,000 loan while acting as the president of a local sporting governing body in June 2015.
He is charged with one count of fraud and is due to appear at Rockhampton Magistrates Court at a date yet to be set.
