Six-week-old Qld baby abducted by man

A six-week-old baby girl has been abducted and is feared to be at "significant risk" following a domestic violence incident near Brisbane.

Police are urgently seeking public help to locate the newborn, who they say was taken Friday 10am from a Narangba address by Mooloolaba man Aedan Carroll, 34, who is known to the baby.

Mr Carroll is driving a silver 2007 Toyota Hilux dual cab with Queensland registration 162 XXT.

Queensland Police have posted on Facebook a photo of the tiny child, asleep in a pink jumpsuit and white beanie, as well as photos of Mr Carroll and his silver ute.

Anyone with information about the baby's whereabouts is urged to contact Policelink or Crimestoppers.
