Six treated after gas incident in Brisbane

Six people are being assessed by paramedics after an apparent gas leak at an inner-Brisbane building.

Emergency services responded to reports of a "gas smell" at the business on Campbell Street, Bowen Hills, about 1.50pm.

About 50 people have been evacuated from the building, while fire crews conduct atmospheric tests and try to ascertain the source of the smell.
