Shots fired at Gold Coast home

Several gunshots have been fired through the front window of a Gold Coast home.

A neighbour called police after hearing two shots in the early hours of Friday morning aimed at the unoccupied Mermaid Waters house.

Reports suggest a shotgun was fired from a passing car, with police finding damage to the house's window and gutter consistent with gunshots.
