Seven Qld teens charged with armed robbery

Six boys and a girl, aged 13 to 15, have been charged with armed robbery after a smash and grab at a Brisbane service station on Friday night.

The Polair police helicopter helped track the seven teenagers after they used a hammer to smash a glass door at the Runcorn business, before driving off in a stolen vehicle with cash and other items.

Five of the boys were picked up by Dog Squad officers after getting out of the car at Eagleby, while the girl and another boy were pulled up after trying to park and flee the vehicle at Loganlea.
