Search for witnesses to Gold Coast crash

A young man remains in a critical condition in intensive care after being hit by a car while crossing a Gold Coast intersection.

The 20-year-old pedestrian was hit about midnight on Friday at Oxenford and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.

The male driver of the car wasn't injured and is not in custody.

Forensic experts are continuing investigations and police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage of the accident to come forward.
