Scuba diver dies on the Gold Coast

A man has died while scuba diving on the Gold Coast.

Water police pulled his body from waters near The Spit at 7.30am on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Police told AAP on Saturday evening the death did not appear to be suspicious and that a report was being prepared for the coroner.

No further details have been released about the incident or the man.
