Schoolboy hit by bus on the Gold Coast

A schoolboy has suffered serious chest and head injuries after being hit by a bus on the Gold Coast.
The 12-year-old was knocked unconscious when hit by the bus on Colman Road at Coomera about 3.45pm on Tuesday, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman told AAP.
He has been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
