School student’s science project sparks chaos at Brisbane train station

A suspicious looking object that created chaos at a busy Brisbane train station this morning is now believed to be a school student’s science project.

Police located the piece of pipe, wrapped in tape and brimming with wires at Indooroopilly train station yesterday evening.

Trains were delayed and nearby roads shut down as the bomb squad was called in.

It’s now believed the object was a school student’s science project which was accidently left on the platform.

All roads have been re-opened and train services have resumed.
