Riverfire to light up Brisbane night sky

Brisbane's night sky is set to light up with the Queensland capital's annual fireworks spectacular, Riverfire.

A series of fly-overs by RAAF jets and helicopters, which start in the afternoon, will usher in the show that will light up the Brisbane River from the Story Bridge to the Victoria Bridge on Saturday night.

Vantage points throughout the CBD and South Bank are again expected to be packed with families ahead of the RAAF EA-18G Growler fly-over at 7.15pm which will signal the start of the fireworks.
