Queensland police discover two naked teens locked in room while responding to sudden death report in Stafford home

Two teenagers have been rushed to hospital after being found naked, malnourished and locked in a room in a North Brisbane home.

Emergency crews told 9News the 17-year-old and 19-year-old were found in some of the most squalid conditions they had ever seen.

Police and paramedics were initially called to the home in Stafford about 7.30am to respond to a sudden death report of a man in his 40s.

It is understood the man had suffered a heart attack.

When officers arrived they heard noises from the two teens who were locked inside a room, police said.

9News understands both teenagers are intellectually handicapped.

They were both treated by paramedics before being rushed to the Prince Charles Hospital.

Child Safety Minister Di Farmer described it as "another horrific incident".

Police said currently, there was no investigation into the treatment of the two teenagers.
