Man in his 20s drowns in Gold Coast pool
A man in his 20s has died at a Gold Coast apartment block after drowning in a pool.
Police were called to the scene at Riverview Parade, Surfers Paradise around 6pm yesterday, after the man was pulled unconscious from the bottom of the pool.

It's believed he dived into the pool and failed to resurface.
Paramedics arrived on the scene but were unable to resuscitate him.
"Police will prepare a report for the coroner after a man died at a unit apartment in Surfers Paradise," a police spokesperson said.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious."
