Queensland man violently attacked by group

Three teenagers have been charged after a 28-year-old man was stabbed in a violent attack on a Brisbane street.

Police said the man was set upon when he confronted a group on a street outside his home in Keperra late on Wednesday night.

He was kicked, punched and stabbed twice in the back before the group fled, and he collapsed as he tried to follow them.

The man was taken to hospital, where he is in a stable condition.

Two 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy have been charged with intending to cause grievous bodily harm.

They will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
