Queensland man spotted surfing on the Brisbane River

A Queenslander hasn't let a lack of a good beach stop him from doing what he loves after he was filmed surfing on the Brisbane river.

In a video posted to Euphoric Queensland's Facebook page, Errol Parker can be seen riding the brown river's tiny waves as he flawlessly surfs to shore.

Parker said he has been surfing the river since he was in high school," News Corp reports.

"My mates and I have been doing this for a while," he said.

"It used to be out little secret. Well until now. You might be able to get a decent wave every now and then. The wash from the CityCats definitely helps. You can only really do it at low tide. If the tide is too high you don't get the right break."
