Queensland schoolboy selling 'rare Woolworths plastic bag'
A creative Queensland schoolboy attempting to raise money for his senior formal outfit has posted a framed "rare Woolworths plastic bag" to Facebook Marketplace.
Deception Bay High School senior Casey told 4BC's Scott Emerson he initially framed the "artefact" after the major supermarket plastic bag ban in 2018.
Casey is hoping to raise around $300 for a suit to wear to his end of year formal at the Stamford Plaza in Brisbane.

"I needed some extra money. I thought it would be just for fun and have a good laugh," Casey said.
"Maybe in a couple of years time, it could be worth something."
Despite the post being made as a joke, a local gallery has offered to buy the item and showcase it.
"Thrillhouse at Camp Hill has offered me $100 to showcase the artefact in their gallery," he said.
"They were wanting to raise money for my suit."
Casey is hoping to field more interest for the item.
