Qld worker rescued from collapsed trench

A Gold Coast construction worker is in a serious condition after a trench collapsed on him at a work site.
The 21-year-old man was trapped when part of the eight metre deep trench collapsed around 9.30am at Coomera, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.
He has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with suspected limb and pelvic injuries.
